Anne-Marie Reis30 January 2003

Was I surprised when I thought that I would wait weeks before I would get a reply after enquiring what are the processes involved studying abroad. This was the norm with the other websites that I have tried elsewhere overseas. Needless to say some never even bothered to reply. Within matter of hours I received a reply and this is how the relationship started with info@studyaustralia.com.au. Due to the excellent service that I have received I abandoned the notion of studying anywhere else, but in Australia. I wanted to be where you really counted as an individual.

Katherine has been helpful from the word go and even now that I am stuck amidst the red tape of visa application she has contacted my university to send a letter to speed up the process. I did not ask for this or expect this, but this is the kind of service that I have grown accustomed to … the unexpected! Katherine was with me all the way from sending in the application, to long agonizing waiting for the selection, holding thumbs for the interview and all the red tape that followed my acceptance at the university.

I was offered assistance with selecting accommodation and all other information that I required to make a move from studying and living in Namibia, Africa to Australia

info@studyaustralia.com.au is one contact address where I got so much more than I bargained for. Thanks again for all the help. You are just fantastic.

Stephan ScheederHaving contacted Study Australia is definitely something I have not once regretted. Through their help and advice my entire application process was made so much easier. I could always approach them with my questions and could be sure to receive all the answers via e-mail only a short time later. Their expertise and professional attitude was helpful in so many ways and simplified the entire process of application starting with the choice of the university and ending with information on the visa application, accommodation possibilities etc.

I was more than satisfied and am very grateful that this service was provided to me free of any charge. I can enthusiastically recommend Study Australia to anybody who is planning on studying “down under”!

I had a friend who worked at Study Australia. When I first came to Australia in 2001, my English level was really low and I did not even know very basic English words such as ‘patient’. My friend was kind enough to help me on many occasions.

In spite of the fact that he was really busy at that time, my friend really helped me a lot. I thought that I could trust a company at which such an honest person works. Therefore, when I changed my English language school last year, I decided to use Study Australia’s service. This company, like my friend, took care of me even after I started my study at Monash Language Centre. And more importantly, these services are absolutely free!!

If you would like to use Study Australia’s services, just send an email. I am sure that it will make your study in Australia more exciting and successful.

I think it is really important to choose a good school. But the problem is that we, foreigners, do not know very much about Australian schools. I used Study Australia’s services twice, and I am satisfied with the quality of their services. If you send an email to Study Australia, staff members, including my friend, will give you a good advice and find a good school that meets your needs.

When I initially came up with the idea to go to university in Australia, I decided to see what my options were by looking up schools on the internet. Study Australia was one of the first web pages I came across. As I’m sure you’ve noticed this web page contains tons of information on everything you must do to go to school in Australia. At first all this new information was quite overwhelming for someone not having pre experience with foreign universities or overseas travel. However, one paragraph that really caught my eye was Study Australia’s claim to find you the best University to suit your study interests. I was a bit leery to believe that someone would actually put in the time and effort free of charge to find me the best university to suit my interests. Nevertheless, I wrote them a brief e-mail about what I was hoping to study. As I continued searching the internet I came across a few universities of interest, but with each of them I also came across the same common problem: how and where to begin in the application process.

Much to my surprise, less than a week later I received an e-mail from Katherine at Study Australia, who had already found me the best university for my interests and an estimate of the costs to study there. I accepted this offer and was immediately sent the application forms and step-by-step information on other preparation tasks. Study Australia made sure to send me all other pre-departure booklets and forms, such as student visa information and residence applications, as they were needed. Katherine was also very kind and quick to answer all my questions along the way. I now have less than a month until I will begin my school year in Australia, and I have everyone at Study Australia to thank.

I applied for the College Year Programme at Embassy CES in Brisbane through Study Australia. I came to Brisbane in October 2002. Although it was Spring it was a really hot day.

I think that Brisbane’s climate is really comfortable. Unlike other cities where there are four seasons in one day, the weather here is very stable. Brisbane is also a liveable city. The city is very safe and, unlike Japanese cities, it is not crowded.

I go to school full time from Monday to Friday. The school is located in the city centre and it is really convenient. I really enjoy the life in Brisbane. On weekends, I often go to the beach or watch movies. Sometimes I go on short trips.

When I applied for the course through Study Australia, they also arranged my accommodation. For the first three months in Brisbane, I lived in a homestay. My homestay included 2 meals a day. My host family was really nice to me. However, their house was far from the city centre. Therefore, I moved to a student residence. It is very close to the school (only 5 minutes walk). Also, I can enjoy shopping because it is in the city centre.

In Australia, there is a long holiday in the Christmas time. My school had holidays for two weeks and I really enjoyed it. I travelled to Melbourne and Adelaide during the holiday.

After four months study at Embassy CES, I feel that my English has been improved. Now I am thinking of change the course to a higher level.

With this short statement I would like to express my great gratitude and thankfulness for Study Australia for their valuable advice and good help.

From the beginning to the end, Study Australia was side by side with me to support and assist. They have the total knowledge and great experience to make the procedures easy and quick. I just informed them of what I intend to study and through the personal consultations the perfect course has been provided.

Moreover, as an International student I found that the Study Australia website is a useful site and it gives a lot of information about Australia and Australian Universities.

What do I have to do to study in Australia? I was hoping to study a masters program at an Australian university in the summer of 2002. However, I did not know what the next step should be, and I frequently asked myself this question.

I began to search for information on Australian universities through books, magazines, and the Internet. Then I accidentally visited Study Australia’s web site. However, at that time, I decided not to use this agent’s service because I had already contacted such an agent in Japan for my study at an English language school in Australia.

When I started my study at an English language centre in Brisbane, I began to seriously think of studying masters program. I began to have contact with some agents in Brisbane. Coincidentally, I received an email message from Study Australia around that time, and I also asked Study Australia the same kind of questions I asked other agents. After I asked some questions to Study Australia, I realised that this agent gave me very quick responses and information they gave was comprehensive and trustworthy. When I began to contact several agents, I already had basic knowledge about Australian universities, and I could distinguish reliable information from wrong information. Therefore, I reached a conclusion that I could trust Study Australia. Furthermore, this agent responded in my native language (Japanese), and this enabled me to acquire their information more quickly.

As I mentioned above, I did my own research on agribusiness courses at Australian universities. However, simply reading printed materials and browsing information on the web did not give me detailed information on specialised areas of study. Therefore, I made a list of universities that interested me and I asked Study Australia for more detailed information. Before I made a final decision to study at Monash University, they gave me an opportunity to meet and talk with administrative staff at the university.

After I finished my study at the English language centre, I went back to Japan. While I was in Japan, I frequently contacted Study Australia by email, fax, and telephone. When I decided to apply for the marketing course at Monash University, Study Australia also helped my application for Monash English Language Centre. They also gave me advice on the student visa application process. And all these services were free!

I'm sure I saved the great amount of time. Without the help of Study Australia, I would have spent a lot of time researching by myself. They also gave me detailed and reliable information on Australian universities.

I will finish my English language course soon and will then start my masters program. I really appreciate Study Australia’s help, and I hope that other people will use this service for applying to Australian schools.
